This is a great product for the price. It holds all my components and doesn't take up a lot of space. The silver knobs and crown molding make it look like a more expensive piece of furniture. My only criticism is that the product has a 1" "stabilizer" bar on the top surface that detracts from the overall appearance. You can't see this bar (especially since the piece is black) in any of the on-line photos.

I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my son and daughter-in-law because they were concerned about their nearly 8-month-old son who had begun pulling himself up on furniture and their old table had OPEN SHELVES and VERY SHARP EDGES. I didn't wait until Christmas; I had the table shipped right away because I didn't want my first grandchild getting hurt!!!!! My daughter-in-law was so thankful that the table is STURDY, BEAUTIFUL/GREAT LOOKING, and most importantly, SAFE FOR YOUNG CHILDREN!!!

Quite heavy, but this is apparent because of quality and sturdiness. I put it together by myself but I would recommend 2 people for assembly. Very attractive and functional for what I bought it for - my big-screen TV.
